The chief justice of Ireland is the president of the Supreme Court of Ireland. The current chief justice is Frank Clarke.
Under the Constitution of Ireland, the chief justice also occupies certain ex officio positions:
Under s. 2 of the Referendum Act 1998, the chief justice nominates the chairperson of the Referendum Commission.
