Chelsea Thomas


Chelsea Rae Thomas is an American softball player. Born in Des Moines, Iowa, she attended Pleasantville High School in Pleasantville, Iowa.
At the University of Missouri, Thomas was a pitcher for the Missouri Tigers softball team from 2009 to 2013, earning a medical redshirt after a season-ending injury in 2010. As a member of the United States women's national softball team she won 2011 World Cup of Softball. In 2013, Thomas was named SEC pitcher of the year. She currently plays professional softball for the USSSA Pride in the National Pro Fastpitch league.
Thomas completed her B.S. in biology in fall 2012https://munews.missouri.edu/student-honors/grad-list-fall2012/missouri/boone.php and M.Ed. in counseling in fall 2013 at Missouri.
