Charlemont was a constituency represented in the Irish House of Commons until 1800.
It represented Charlemont, County Armagh, an important military post since the founding of Charlemont Fort in 1602.History
In the Patriot Parliament of 1689 summoned by King James II, Charlemont was not represented.
