Cerebrolysin

Cerebrolysin is a mixture of peptides purified from pig brains, including brain-derived neurotrophic factor, glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor, nerve growth factor, and ciliary neurotrophic factor.
While cerebrolysin is used for stroke and vascular dementia, the evidence to support this use is weak. It is also sold as a nootropic.
There is some tentative evidence of a beneficial effect on cognitive function in people with vascular dementia, possibly through decreased beta-amyloid deposition. Cerebrolysin is widely used in Russia, Eastern Europe, China, and other post-Soviet and Asian countries.
