Cassiane Santana Santos Macnhães Guimarães is a Brazilian gospel singer, songwriter, Christian minister and missionary known mononymouslsy as Cassiane. She is one of the most popular and best-selling Brazilian gospel singers. She has been singing for 37 years.

History

Cassiane was born January 27, 1973. Cassiane born in a Christian home in the municipality of Nova Iguaçu, Baixada Fluminense, whose Church Assembly of God congregate, since childhood. With three years already sang in worship with family support. But first, a test of faith marked his life. According to his mother, at 11 months of age, Cassiane contracted a disease that remains unclear. In a crisis, was taken to put the old INPS, in Nova Iguaçu, where she was found her death. The mother follows, saying that God would restore the life of her daughter, through their prayers.
In 1981 the singer recorded her first album at 8 years of age, and thereafter never stopped. She married in 1994 and also a singer, and conductor and music producer Jairinho Manhães, her childhood friend. They have 3 children, Jayane, Caius and Joshua. Cassiane Jairinho and recorded together for the love songs compilation album "Love You" from the label MK Music, and due to the success of these songs, they began to burn CDs together. Currently residing in Ilha do Governador, Rio de Janeiro, which hosts its own label, and Reuel Music Publisher, which is also his studio mixing music.
She has recorded 17 musical works, especially the last seven CDs: "No Words" - gold album, "Forever" - platinum, "With Much Praise" - Diamond Disc, "Reward" disc platinaduplo, "The Cure", platinum, "Seeds of Faith" - disk platinaduplo and "Make a Difference". Released their first DVD in 2006, with 26 tracks, along with the CD that brings 14 more songs. "25 Years of Very Praise" was recorded live at the Cathedral of the Assemblies of God of Santa Cruz, in Rio de Janeiro, with about 8000 people2.
In 2005, Cassiane was named the first pastor for his church, the Church Assembly God.3. The singer was nominated in several categories at Promises Trophy in 2011, among them best song, Best CD and best singer, but did not win anyone.4 In 2011, the singer participated in the 100 years of DVD Pentecostal movement, along with Damares, Elaine de Jesus and Lauriete.
