Carrillo Airport


Carrillo Airport is an airport serving Puerto Carrillo, a Pacific coastal village in Guanacaste Province, Costa Rica. The airport and village are east of Sámara village.

Facilities

The airport has a grass landing strip and a covered shelter that is occasionally used to weigh luggage before boarding. There are no amenities nearby.
The runway begins at the shoreline, and slopes upward to the east. There are hills just north of the runway, and higher terrain east and south. West approach and departure will be over the water of Carrillo Bay. The Liberia VOR-DME is located north of the airport.
