Carla Yules


Pricilia Carla Yules is an Indonesian beauty pageant titleholder who won the Miss Indonesia 2020 title and will represent Indonesia at Miss World 2020 competition.

Early life and education

Yules was born on July 8, 1996 in Surabaya, East Java to parents who relocated to Surabaya from Makassar in the early '90s. She is the third of four children, and all her siblings are girls. She completed all of her secondary and primary studies in Surabaya, where she went to Santa Agnes Catholic Junior High School and Frateran Senior High School. Upon finishing high school, Yules took a gap year before continuing her study in Melbourne, Australia in 2015. She attended William Angliss Institute of TAFE and earned a Diploma in Hospitality and Patisserie. During her time in Melbourne, she gained experience working as a cook in a very well-known restaurant called Chin-Chin, and later to a fine-dining restaurant, Eureka 89, located in the tallest building in Melbourne, Eureka Tower.

Pageantry

Miss Indonesia 2020

Yules represented South Sulawesi province in the selection of Miss Indonesia 2020. At the end of the contest, she was declared the winner after competing with 33 other finalists from 33 provinces on February 20, 2020.

Miss World 2020

Yules will represent Indonesia at Miss World 2020 pageant to be held in Thailand later this year.
