Can Yaman


Can Yaman is a Turkish actor and a lawyer. He has received a Golden Butterfly Award for Best Actor in a Romantic Comedy in 2018 for his role in Erkenci Kuş.

Life

Yaman was born on 8 November 1989 in Istanbul, Turkey. His paternal grandfather is an Albanian immigrant from Kosovo. His paternal grandmother is an immigrant from North Macedonia. He is the nephew of football coach Fuat Yaman.
The court found Can Yaman guilty due to an incident during which he insulted and threw a glass at Selen Soyder, his co-star in the 2016 series Hangimiz Sevmedik.
Yaman studied at Bilfen Kolej for first and middle school, then studied at the Italian High School, where he finished as a top student. He went to the United States under a student exchange program and graduated from the Law Department of Yeditepe University in 2012.
From 2018 to 2019, he played the lead role "Can" in the Turkish romantic comedy series Erkenci Kuş whereby he co-starred with Demet Özdemir. He received the Best Foreign Actor Award at the Murex D'or 2019 in Beirut, Lebanon for his role in Erkenci Kuş. He was officially announced by E! News as the winner of 2019 TV's Top Leading Man for the same TV series.
In 2020, Υaman started playing the lead role Özgür in the Turkish series Bay Yanlış co-starring Özge Gürel. The series is produced by Gold Film, directed by Deniz Yorulmazer, and its script is written by Aslı Zengin and Banu Zengin Tak. It premiered on FOX in June 2020.
