Camille Cogswell


Camille Cogswell is the Executive Chef at K'Far, a café and bakery in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was named the James Beard Foundation's Rising Star Chef in 2018 and was on the Forbes list of 30 Under 30Food & Drink.
Cogswell was born in Asheville, North Carolina and graduated from the Culinary Institute of America. She worked in New York City at The NoMad before coming to Philadelphia to work at Zahav. She was the head pastry chef at Zahav and, in July 2018, she led the opening of K'Far, an Israeli café and bakery created by the team behind Zahav. She is now the executive chef at K'Far and the executive pastry chef at Zahav.
In 2018 she was named as the Rising Chef by the James Beard Foundation. She was on the Forbes list of 30 Under 30 and, in May 2020, she was named one of the 10 Best New Chefs in America by Food & Wine magazine.
