CAF Team of the Year

The CAF Team of the Year is an annual football award given by the Confederation of African Football during the CAF Awards.
In 2007, the CAF did not choose the team of the year, but rather chose the best ten players of the last 50 years. The ten players were Mahmoud El Khatib and Hossam Hassan from Egypt, Roger Milla and Samuel Eto'o from Cameroon, Abedi Pele from Ghana, Kalusha Bwalya from Zambia, George Weah from Liberia, Rabah Madjer from Algeria, Didier Drogba from Ivory Coast, and Nwankwo Kanu from Nigeria.
