Byron Nemeth


Byron Nemeth is an Ecuadorian American musician. He is most noted for his solo work which is primarily instrumental progressive guitar work.

Career

In the late 1980s Nemeth was a member of many local bands in the heavy metal scene of Cleveland.
His first official release came in 1989 when Sacred Heart released their debut EP titled The Vision. In 1991 together with Ken Dugan, Jimm Motyka, Kris Dugan and Dan Mattingly he formed Amon-Ra, a year after the band was formed came the release of their debut album In the Company of the Gods.
In the mid 1990s after years of working on the metal scene of Cleveland he began studying jazz and classical music at Cleveland State University and a few years later Nemeth decided to start a solo career and in 1999 came the debut release with the 1999 EP.
Since then Byron has opened for international acts such as Warrant, Winger, Dream Theater, Vicious Rumors, Yes, Black Label Society and many more.
Since 2009 he has become a regular live performer at NAMM.
