Buserite


Buserite is a type of hydrous oxide mineral. Its chemical formula is Na4Mn14O27 · 21H2O. It has to be kept in water to keep its form, and is normally found in streambeds.

Properties

It has a special property which, when taken out of water, dissolves into Birnessite. Thus, it has to be kept in water constantly. In addition, it was named after Swiss professor W. Buser, which first identified the material.
