Budhan is a village in Sub Division Bijhari and Tehsil Barsar, District Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, India. The Village is located in the Outer Himalayan Range of Shivalik Hills at an Average Elevation of 800M above sea level. It Faces due southern end of Hamirpur district Bilaspur and far Solan and Shimla. It can typically be called an eye to the south. The Village Hilltop Presents a 360° Views of most of the neighboring Districts and The Dhauladhar Himalayan Range, Naina Devi Hills, Swarghat and Bahadurpur Hills. Occasional River Shukkar-Khud flows in the Valley Formed by Budhan Hill with Vaishno Devi Hill. It has high density of Stones and pabbles in its soil making its Land firmer and Stable eventually reluctant to any landslides. Due to its elevation, It experiences Pleasent weather all round the year with an exception of Hot Summer Days lasting June to Mid July. Due to its closer Vicinity to Lake Govind Sagar, it experiences Cooler Winds blowing due North probably a reason for Cool Summer Nights.
