București Wolves


The Bucharest Wolves was a professional Romanian rugby union team based in Bucharest that competed annually in the European Rugby Challenge Cup competition. The team that was formed every season to play in the Challenge Cup consisted of rugby players playing in the domestic Romanian leagues. The team had never made it past the pool stages in the European Rugby Challenge Cup but have made some upsets against the likes of RC Toulonnais, Rugby Calvisano and Crociati Parma Rugby FC. Starting with 2015, the franchise was to replaced by the winner CEC Bank Superliga to compete in the European Rugby Challenge Cup.
