Briana Lane is an American actress and musician.

Acting

She is known for her recurring roles on NBC's The New Normal, Freeform's Switched at Birth', Freeform's Young & Hungry' and her lead role in Disney's.
In 2020, she can be seen in Blumhouse's film Run Sweetheart Run, indie One Nation Under God and heist feature12 Hour Shift. Other notable roles include her lead role as Roxanne in Nerdist's Real Housewives of Horror and recurring roles on NBC's Extant and Freeform's Baby Daddy.

Music

In 2018, she released an album with her band, Winslow with bandmate Kate Miner. The duo is signed with Kobalt under AWAL Records.

Hosting and writing

Lane got her start as a writer for CBS interactive's Danny Bonaduce Life Coach after graduating college which led her to do on-camera hosting work for the network. She has hosted for E! News, MSN, and CBS. In 2015, she co-anchored a comedy news show called The Desk for Uproxx under Woven Digital. In 2012, she wrote a comedy pilot with Brianne Davis and shot the spec with Jorge Garcia.

Personal life

Lane was born in Los Angeles, CA and attended Marymount High School.
She graduated with a BA from UCLA's School of Film, Theater and Television with an emphasis in musical theater.
Lane is a member of UNICEF's Next Gen and a longtime supporter of The Arthritis Foundation.
