Bob Dutko


Bob Dutko is a conservative Christian talk radio host in Detroit, Michigan on the Crawford Broadcasting Network. The Bob Dutko Show airs weekdays from noon to 4:00 pm Eastern Time on WMUZ-FM and several Crawford Broadcasting stations nationwide. Additionally, he can be heard weekdays 8pm to 9pm on the Bob Dutko Primetime program. Dutko also hosts the nationally syndicated Defending the Truth with Bob Dutko airing on various stations nationwide, including Crawford stations KCBC serving Modesto, Stockton, and San Francisco,
KLTT in Denver, and KKPZ in Portland. The program also airs on Saturday and Sunday mornings on KBRT serving Los Angeles and Orange County, and on Sunday morning and evening on KLZ in Denver. The national program began in February 2008, greatly expanding his audience outside of the Detroit metro area. Bob joined WMUZ-FM in the fall of 2000. Before coming to WMUZ-FM, he served as National Press Secretary for Christian Coalition of America in Washington D.C. under Roberta Combs and Pat Robertson.

Radio show

He has engaged in radio debates with prominent atheists such as Christopher Hitchens, Richard Dawkins, Daniel Dennett, Dan Barker, Michael Shermer, Victor Stenger, A.C. Grayling, Aron Ra, etc. Also has had interviews with Ken Ham, Michael Tate, Candace Cameron Bure, and many more famous Christians. On Friday, July 10th's radio program, Mr. Dutko urged listeners to vote for Donald Trump claiming that Joe Biden will force churches to close if they don't let same-sex couples marry. He also suggested that COVID-19 deaths are down, contradicting the evidence around the country that deaths are up in many states.

Personal

Dutko was raised in the Worldwide Church of God before becoming a born-again Christian at age 19. Bob is married and has had 6 boys and 1 daughter. Colleen, the Dutko's only daughter, suddenly and un-expectantly collapsed and died in his arms on Mother's Day, 2002. Colleen was 17 years old at the time of death. The cause of her death is unknown.
