Blaketown
Blaketown is a suburb to the west of Greymouth on the West Coast of New Zealand. The Grey River separates Blaketown from Cobden, and the Blaketown Lagoon separates it from the centre of Greymouth.
According to the 2013 New Zealand census, Blaketown has a population of 933, a decrease of 36 people since the 2006 census. There were 462 males and 471 females.
The town is named after Isaac Blake, an early storekeeper in the district.Education
