Billy Wilson (New Zealand rugby league)
William Wilson was a New Zealand professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1910s and 1920s. He played at representative level for New Zealand, and Wellington, as a, or, i.e. number 2 or 5, or, 13, during the era of contested scrums.Billy Wilson played in Wellington's 33-18 victory over Auckland during the 1913 New Zealand rugby league season Inter-district competition on Saturday 27 September 1913, this would be Wellington's last victory against Auckland until 1988.International honours
Billy Wilson represented New Zealand in 1914 against Great Britain, in 1919 against Australia, and in 1921 against Australia.
