Bhelsar is a village in Rudauli, Faizabad district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

Geography

Bhelsar village is located in Rudauli Tehsil of Faizabad district in Uttar Pradesh, India. It is situated 40 km away from district headquarter Rudauli. Rudauli is the sub-district headquarter of Bhelsar village. The village covers 403.29 hectare.
In 2009 Bhelsar village became a gram panchayat.

History

Bhelser is an old village of the Faizabad previously named Bhil or Bhar. Bhil family old generation of this village history of Bhelsar is very interesting there were bhil live in this village then relative of Sayed Salar Masood Gazi passed in this areas with the commander of army Ikhtiyār al-Dīn Muḥammad Bakhtiyār Khaljī, some family members of Ikhtiyār al-Dīn Muḥammad Bakhtiyār Khaljī inhabited living in which area named Akhtiyarpur and after some
years they inhabited south of Bhelser
