Beluga (vodka)

Beluga Noble Russian Vodka is a brand of Russian Vodka created in the Mariinsk distillery. The brand itself is marketed in the super-premium vodka segment.

History

Beluga Noble Russian Vodka was first created in 2002 by the Mariinsk distillery. Mariinsk itself was founded in 1900 in Siberia.
In May of 2016, Beluga partnered with Summergate Fine Wine & Spirits to be the exclusive importer and distributor of the brand in Greater China.

Process

Water is a key component in the production of Beluga Vodka, accounting for 60% of its unique formula. They pull from artesian water sources around 33m underground. Another component is a special malt spirit, rarely found in today's vodka, mainly due to the cost and labour-intensive program it requires. The filtration process involves a triple filtration through charcoal, impregnated silver, and sand. The final production style includes maturation that lasts 1-month for Noble, 45 days for Transatlantic, 2 months for Allure, and 3months for Gold Line.

Flavors

There are six flavors of Beluga, Noble, Transatlantic, Allure, Goldline, Celebration and Beluga Epicure by Lalique.
