projecting
southward
into
Darwin Glacier
just
east
of
Touchdown Glacier
. The
descriptive
name, the
hill
supposedly suggesting a
bastion
, was given by the
Darwin
Glacier
Party
of the
Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition
.
