Basil MacDonald Hastings was an English author, journalist, and playwright.Biography
He was born on 20 September 1881 in Southwark, London, England. He died on 21 February 1928 in Southwark, London, England after a "lengthy illness" at age 46. His son was the journalist and author Macdonald Hastings, and his grandson is the journalist, author and historian Max Hastings.
