Basal, Attock

Basal is a village in Jand Tehsil of Attock district in the Punjab Province of Pakistan.
The village is prominent for having stations of Pakistan Railway two small stations Basal Sharif and Sulemanabad and one is Basal Junction. The renowned personality of letters and intellectual life of 20th century Dr Ghulam Jilani Barq born in this village in 1901.
