Kue bahulu


Kue bahulu, baulu or bolu is a traditional Indonesian, Malaysian and Bruneian pastry similar to the madeleine cake despite with round shapes and different ingredients. It is usually served during Eid al-Fitr as well as during the Chinese New Year.
In Indonesia, this pastry quite popular in Kalimantan, especially in Pontianak, Sambas and Singkawang in West Kalimantan.
