Geography

Bacarra is bounded on the north by the Municipality of Pasuquin, on the east by Vintar; on the south by Laoag City; and on the west by the South China Sea. It is located at the province of the Ilocos Norte about north of Laoag City, and north of Manila. Bacarra is one of the municipalities with the smallest land area in the province.
