Avandi
AVANDI is a product design studio founded by Ariane van Dievoet in 2014 in Brooklyn, and based in Brussels since 2018.History
After earning degrees from the Chelsea College of Arts and the Rhode Island School of Design, Ariane van Dievoet founded AVANDI in Red Hook, Brooklyn in 2014. That same year, AVANDI was officially launched at the 2014 SaloneSatellite, the young artists' exhibit of the Milan Furniture Fair, where it received the 3rd prize of the SaloneSatellite award for its Steptool, a minimalist kitchen ladder. After five years in Brooklyn, Van Dievoet moved back to her native Brussels to continue AVANDI there. She received the 2019 Elle Decoration Uptown Design Award for her exhibition and capsule collection Reflected Matter, in collaboration with bespoke interior brand Obumex.
