Arthur Lewis (art director)


Arthur Lewis is the creative director of the United Talent Agency Fine Arts department and the UTA Artist Space. He guides the careers of artists who are represented by UTA's Fine Arts group and he oversees the exhibitions, programs and partnerships with both Los Angeles and national art communities. Prior to working at UTA he was the Executive Vice President of the New York Design Office for Kohl's. He had executive leadership roles at HSN, Hautelook and Gap Inc. as well.
Born in New Orleans, Lewis lives in Los Angeles and has a collection which includes art by Ebony G. Patterson, Genevieve Gaignard, Toyin Ojih Odutola, Kerry James Marshall, Amy Sherald and many other emerging artists and contemporary African-American artists.
Lewis is on the boards of the Underground Museum, Prospect New Orleans and the Hammer Museum. He is a global council member of The Studio Museum of Harlem. Lewis is also a member of the National Advisory Committee for the New Orleans African American Museum.
