Station history

Arimatsu Station was opened on May 8, 1917 as Arimatsu-ura Station on the Aichi Electric Railway. On April 1, 1935, the Aichi Electric Railway merged with the Nagoya Railroad. The station was renamed to its present name on November 1, 1943. The station building was rebuilt from 2000-2001.
