António Caetano


António de Oliveira Caetano is a Portuguese retired footballer who played as a left back, and is a manager.

Club career

Born in Feira, Caetano played in 16 uninterrupted Primeira Liga seasons, appearing in exactly 300 league matches for Boavista FC, C.F. Estrela da Amadora – helping the Lisbon club to the Taça de Portugal in his second year – Vitória de Guimarães, C.F. Os Belenenses and S.C. Beira-Mar, retiring from the professional game in 1999 at the age of 33.
In the 2000s he worked as a manager, mainly in the lower league and also as an assistant and with Boavista's juniors. In the 2002–03 campaign, he was in charge of Segunda Liga team C.D. Aves for 11 games.
