Andorra took part in the Eurovision Song Contest for the first time in 2004. The country was represented by Marta Roure and the song "Jugarem a estimar-nos". The song was chosen through a national final, 12 Punts, which was jointly organized by Andorran broadcaster RĂ dio i TelevisiĂł d'Andorra and Catalan broadcaster TV3.

Before Eurovision

12 Punts

40 artists of the tiny country of Andorra attended auditions, after which two acts were selected for the televised series, Marta Roure and Bis a Bis.
All shows took place at the Auditori Nacional d´Andorra in Ordino, and were hosted by Pati Molné and Xavier Graset. The results were determined by a combination of an "expert" jury, SMS voting in Andorra and SMS voting in Catalonia. The members of the "expert" jury were Marcos Llunas, Salvador Cufí, Catheryne Metayer, Josep Maria Escribano and Oriol Vilella.
On 1 January 2004, an album of all the songs performed during the series was released on CD. One of these songs, "No És Nou", became a hit later in 2006 by Catalan rock group Gossos featuring Beth.
