Amantini
Amantini was the name of a Pannonian Illyrian tribe. They greatly resisted the Romans but were sold as slaves after their defeat. The Amantini were close to Sirmium The name of the Illyrian tribe of Amantini bears resemblance to the name of the Greek tribe of Amantes, which originally hailed from Phocis and Euboea.
