The tour's first date was for him to perform at Huntington Bank Pavilion on June 1, 2017. On December 10, 2017, the European leg of the tour was announced, along with more US dates due to demand. The tour ended on November 10, 2019 with his show in Costa Rica.
The original tour started on June 1, 2017, which was the original time that Johnson and Brushfire Records planned to release the album. But due to a surfing trip attended by Johnson, the album release date had to be moved to September 2017. To date, the tour has sold 99.5% of all the tickets available, making it a huge success. On March 18, 2018, Johnson performed again at Santa Barbara Bowl with other special guests. 100% of the proceeds went to United Way Worldwide to help support families from the 2017 California wildfires. The show at Santa Barbara Bowl raised more than $500,000 for United Way. "I hope everyone enjoyed the event as much as my band, crew, and I did," Johnson said. "The process of working together with so many friends to support our community ended up being healing in itself. We are so grateful to everyone who helped make the evening possible." The projected goal for the concert was $200,000. Johnson also helped United Way by helping out the community during the days before the concert. He also performed in Hawaii on May 12, 2018 to raise money for Kau'i Relif and recovery fund. Johnson will also be performing at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on May 6, 2018 along with artists such as Aretha Franklin and Sheryl Crow.
