Alice Harding

Alice Kust Harding from the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, was awarded the status of Fellow in the American Physical Society, after they were nominated by their Division of Astrophysics in 1991, for pioneering investigation of the theory of pulsar atmospheres, including the pulsar wind and its role in accelerating particles to high energies, and for contributions to the theory of basic electromagnetic interactions in the presence of super-strong magnetic fields.
