Ali Muhammad Khan


Ali Muhammad Khan is a Pakistani politician who is the current Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, in office since 17 September 2018. He is currently a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan, since August 2018. He is a Lawyer by profession.
Previously he was a member of the National Assembly from June 2013 to May 2018.

Early life and education

Khan was born on 30 November 1977. He is a lawyer by profession.

Political career

He was elected to the National Assembly of Pakistan as a candidate of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf from Constituency NA-10 in 2013 Pakistani general election. He received 46,531 votes and defeated a candidate of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam.
In 2014, a police case was registered again Khan after he stormed a police station which caused injuries to three policemen.
He was re-elected to the National Assembly as a candidate of PTI from Constituency NA-22 in 2018 Pakistani general election. He received 58,577 vote and defeated Moulana Mohammad Qasim.
On 17 September 2018, he was inducted into the federal cabinet of Prime Minister Imran Khan and was appointed as Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs.
