Alan Trachtenberg
Alan Trachtenberg is Neil Gray, Jr. Professor Emeritus of English and American Studies at Yale University. He received his Ph.D. in American Studies at the University of Minnesota. He is the husband of Betty Trachtenberg, former Dean of Students at Yale University, and father to Zev Trachtenberg, Elissa Trachtenberg and Julie Trachtenberg. He enjoys swimming, canoeing, and photography.Selected works
