Alain Chevrier


Alain Guy Chevrier is a Canadian retired ice hockey goaltender.

Biography

As a youth, he played in the 1974 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a minor ice hockey team from Cornwall, Ontario.
Chevrier played college hockey at Miami University, and was Miami's first player to play in the NHL. Chevrier started his National Hockey League career with the New Jersey Devils. He also played with the Winnipeg Jets, Chicago Blackhawks, Pittsburgh Penguins and Detroit Red Wings. His career endured from 1985 to 1991.
