Akupara Games

Akupara Games is an American video game publisher and developer for indie games. Based in Los Angeles, California, the company was founded by David Logan. The company also does contracting work for marketing and porting games to console & mobile platforms.
During the production of Logan's first title as a developer, Whispering Willows, Logan and his team did not experience the level of support they had wanted. Sensing there was a space to fill, Logan founded the company to provide developers a unique experience. These efforts include leveraging the developer's title to the fullest via physical editions, soundtracks, and merchandise. Since founding, Akupara Games has worked with third-party developers, such as Oscar Brittain on his game Desert Child, for multi-platform releases.
In 2019, the publisher had signed Danish developer Die Gute Fabrik's Mutazione for multi-platform release, including subscription service Apple Arcade. The title went on to be nominated for multiple awards at the 2020 Independent Games Festival, ultimately winning Excellence in Audio.
As of 2020, Akupara Games is represented under Digital Development Management.
