Ahmed Ezz (actor)


Ahmed Ezz Eldine Ali Ezzat, known professionally as Ahmed Ezz, is an Egyptian actor.
Ezz was born and raised in Maadi, Cairo. He majored in English literature and earned his bachelor's degree from Ain Shams University. He also modeled while working in the field of tourism.

Acting career

Ezz had a small role in the film Kalam El Lail directed by Inas El-Degheidy. After that, he joined Actor's Studio, a one-year program designed and maintained by working professionals in the field to teach the basics of acting and film making. Soon after, he was offered a role in Al Sharaf, which won an award from the Alexandria Film Festival. But it was not until he was offered the lead in Mozakarat Moraheqa, another El-Deghidy movie, that he rose to stardom.

Personal life

Ezz married the Egyptian singer Angham. Yet, they kept their marriage secret due to some family problems Angham was facing at the time. Their marriage officially ended in 2012. In 2014, Zeina accused Ezz of being the father of her twin boys after a customary marriage. Ezz denied such allegations and refused to do a DNA test ordered by the court. The court decided in favour of Zeina and registered the boys as his kids. Later on, another court ruled that he must spend three years in jail with a fine up to EGP 15,000 for slandering the actress Zeina.
