Agreed Measures for the Conservation of Antarctic Fauna and Flora


The Agreed Measures for the Conservation of Antarctic Fauna and Flora is a set of measures agreed on the third "Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meeting" in Brussels 1964 as recommendation number VIII. It is part of the Antarctic Treaty System but has been designated no longer "current" in 2011. Its Objective is to further international collaboration within the framework of the Antarctic Treaty to promote and achieve the objectives of protection, scientific study, and rational use of these fauna and flora.
