Aghagogan


Aghagogan is a townland in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It is situated in the historic barony of Omagh East and the civil parish of Termonmaguirk and covers an area of 949 acres.
The name derives from the Irish: Achadh Ogáin, Achadh Ui Ógáin or Achadh goigin.
Barry McElduff, Sinn Féin MLA, is from Aghagogan and is an advocate for increased use of townland names in Northern Ireland.
