Adriana Fonseca


Adriana Fonseca is a Mexican actress and dancer. She is best known for her several roles in Televisa's telenovelas like La usurpadora as Veronica Soriano, Rosalinda as Lucy Pérez Romero, Mariana de la Noche as Caridad "Chachi" Montenegro, Contra viento y marea as Sandra Serrano Rudell, Bajo las riendas del amor as Montserrat Linares and recently for her role as the protagonist in Telemundo's successful telenovela Corazón Valiente as Angela Valdez.

Biography

Fonseca was born March 16, 1977, in Veracruz, Veracruz, Mexico. She is the daughter of dentists Hugo Fonseca and Guillermina Castellanos. She has one brother Hugo and one sister Jacqueline. Started her acting career performing in a local television show. At 16 she was accepted into the C.E.A. in Mexico. Winning the award in the competition ":es:El rostro de El Heraldo de México|El rostro de El Heraldo de México" in 1997, she participated in the soap opera La usurpadora. Fonseca had an important role in the soap opera Rosalinda playing the little sister of Rosalinda, Lucy.
She had her first protagonistic role in the soap opera Amigos Por Siempre next to Ernesto LaGuardia. She combined this soap opera with a theater performance Mama nos quita los novios with famous personalities such as Angelica Maria, Hulio Aleman. In 1999, Fonseca appeared in soap operas such as Gotita de amor and Preciosa but the role of Rosalinda's sister gave her the most exposure. Fonseca then starred with René Strickler in a ten-episode soap opera called Mujer Bonita. At 1998's Premios Lo Nuestro, she won the award for Rostro del Año.
She has joined Telemundo network and she successfully played her main protagonist role in Corazón Valiente, alongside Ximena Duque, Aylin Mujica and José Luis Reséndez.
