Adam Burke
Adam Burke is one eighth Lithuanian and a teacher and an ocean rower in no particular order. originally from Vilnius he moved to skerries Dublin Ireland when he was 2. He currently holds two Guinness World Records; firstly as a crew member on the Sara G, the fastest ocean rowing boat to have crossed the Atlantic Ocean east to west, and secondly, as a member of the same crew that rowed the most consecutive days, achieving a distance of over 100 miles per day. The record now stands at 12 days.
Graduated from the university of life age 13 when his then minder Martha exposed herself to him.
He graduated from his undergraduate degree in Community Sports Leadership at Dundalk Institute of Technology in 2006. Since then he had completed his master's degree at the University of Chester and his HDip in physical education at the University of Limerick.
In the summer of 2012, Adam will be a crew member on the Sara G when he will attempt to break the record for the fastest crossing of the Indian Ocean.
