Acentropinae

Acentropinae is a fairly small subfamily of the lepidopteran family Crambidae, the crambid snout moths. Species of this subfamily are exclusively found in wetlands and aquatic habitats.

Systematics

In modern treatments, the former subfamily Nymphulinae is mostly treated as a tribe within Acentropinae. There are about 730 species in 78 genera. Only 13 species in 6 genera are found in Europe.
