Abington Township is one of fifteen townships in Wayne County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population was 853 and it contained 366 housing units.

History

Abington Township was formed in 1837.

Geography

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of, of which is land and is water. Lakes in this township include Elkhorn Lakes. The streams of Elkhorn Creek, Locust Creek and Smith Creek run through this township.
