Synopsis

Mahesh inherits enormous wealth after his father's death. Surrounded by sycophantic friends, he whiles away his life in pursuit of pleasure, caring little about the huge industrial estate his father has left behind as his legacy. With no one keeping a check on them, the corrupt employees of the company siphon off huge amounts for their own benefit.
One day, while pursuing a young girl in his friend's car, Mahesh ends up injuring his old school teacher accidentally. He brings the old man home and gets his injuries treated. He offers the teacher some money, which the old man refuses to take, saying that the school building needed the money more than him. However, when Mahesh offers to donate a huge amount to the school building fund, the teacher again refuses to accept it. He tells Mahesh that he doesn’t want his father's money, but if Mahesh really wanted to help the school, he should earn some money on his own to donate it. He warns Mahesh that the task in hand is easier said than done and it would be greatly difficult for him to get work without using his father's name. Mahesh takes up the task as a challenge.
