41st Filmfare Awards


The 41st Filmfare Awards were held in 1996.
Aditya Chopra's Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, considered one of the most successful films in Indian cinema history, won 10 awards which was a record at that time, out of a leading fourteen nominations.
A.R. Rahman won his first Filmfare award for his first Hindi film Rangeela.
