40th Filmfare Awards


The 40th Filmfare Awards were held in 1995, with Sooraj Barjatya's Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! dominating the night.
Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! is a landmark film for Bollywood and is one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of all time.
1942: A Love Story and Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! led the ceremony with 13 nominations each.
However, Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 1942: A Love Story was the biggest winner of the ceremony, with no less than nine wins, and Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! ended up winning five awards.
