Attached below and to the sides of the shield a Gold scroll inscribed “ALL FOR ONE” in Black letters.

It was redesignated for the 40th Artillery Regiment on 20 November 1958. The insignia was redesignated for the 40th Field Artillery Regiment effective 1 September 1971.
