2020 Northern Cypriot presidential election


Presidential elections are scheduled to be held in Northern Cyprus on 11 October 2020. They were originally scheduled to take place on 26 April 2020, but they were postponed in March 2020 for six months due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Northern Cyprus.

Electoral system

The President of Northern Cyprus is elected using the two-round system. If no candidate receives a majority of the vote in the first round, a second will be held between the top two candidates.
