2020–21 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier

The 2020–21 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier is scheduled to be a tournament played as part of qualification process for the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup, between March and September 2020. In April 2018, the International Cricket Council granted full international status to Twenty20 men's matches played between member sides from 1 January 2019 onwards. Therefore, all the matches in the Regional Qualifiers will be played as Twenty20 Internationals. The Asia Qualifier will consist of Eastern and Western sub-regional groups, with the Western tournament scheduled to take place in Kuwait in April 2020. The winners of each sub-regional group will progress to one of two global qualifiers.
However, on 24 March 2020, the International Cricket Council confirmed that all ICC qualifying events scheduled to take place before 30 June 2020 had been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Western sub-region tournament was originally scheduled to take place in Kuwait from 16 - 20 April 2020, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
